Privacy Policy

Conduit is a mobile and tablet client for driving coding agents on a development machine you control. The short version: your sessions stay between your device and your own broker — we don't run servers that receive, store, or read your terminal output, chat, or browser content.

Conduit is self-hosted by design. You pair the app with a broker/harness that you run on your machine. Your work flows directly between your device and that broker. There is no Conduit cloud account, and we have no access to your session data.

What stays on your device and your broker

Session content — terminal output, chat messages, commands, and browser previews flow between your device and the broker you pair with. We do not proxy, store, or read it.
Pairing credentials — the QR code / token you use to connect to a broker is stored locally on your device.
Sign-in tokens — if you sign in with Anthropic, the resulting OAuth tokens are stored on your device and/or your broker so the agent can call Anthropic's API. Use of Anthropic's API is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy.

Diagnostics we do collect

Crash and error reports — to find and fix bugs, the app sends crash reports and limited diagnostic logs to our error-monitoring provider, Sentry. These may include device model, OS version, app version, and technical breadcrumbs about what the app was doing. They are used solely to improve the app — never for advertising, and never sold.

Device permissions

Camera & Photos — used only to scan or import a pairing QR code. Images are processed on-device and are not uploaded.
Microphone & Speech Recognition — used only for optional voice dictation. Speech is transcribed on-device; we do not receive your audio.
Local network — used to discover brokers advertising on your Wi-Fi (Bonjour/mDNS). This discovery stays on your local network.

What we don't do

No advertising and no third-party ad or analytics trackers (beyond the crash reporting described above).
No sale or sharing of personal data.
No Conduit-operated account system that stores your content.

Children

Conduit is a developer tool and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised policy at this URL.
